A few years back I got a PSA Dagger Compact to do abusive testing of accessories. The gun has endured serious abuse since then, including having the slide openings packed with nice, gluey PNW clay mud, and continues to function flawlessly. After thousands of rounds the only malfunctions I can recall are some a few dud rounds- notably Winchester White Boc practice ammo. I know that not every owner of this gun has had a similarly positive experience, but for a cheap Glock clone I think that overall they do pretty damned well. There have been no modifications to the core functionality of this gun. I have altered the grip to a 1911 grip-angle, added some texture to the polymer frame and fabricated a mini-comp (mostly as a thread-protector. Do I recommend it? Provisionally yes. Just understand these guns are built to a price and some examples may need to resort to PSA customer service.
