Years ago (2017) we reviewed ATI's Omni Hybrid .410 AR conversion using a full shotgun-length barrel, and now ATI has a pistol-length configuration. Thos Omni Hybrid videos were very popular showing many had interest in the conversion and it's easy to understand why.
By simply having another upper and magazines on hand you can easily convert your AR into something fitting for close range and hunting. We don't have one of the new Alpha Maxx .410s in hand yet, but below is the press release and image.

The Milsport .410 is solid and I assume the pistol version will be, as well. But good luck finding .410 ammo right now. Even if you can find it, get ready to pay.
One thing I can't understand is why makers of AR 'pistols' insist on making them with A2 grips - for the AR 'pistols' I build or buy, one of the first things I do is install a BCM Mod 3 grip. I've found that the more vertical grip angle makes the short-barrel ARs more comfortable to handle, and the 'chicken wing' style of aiming went obsolete right after Vietnam.
