I'd heard that there was something in the works at Grand Power...was hoping for an all-metal variant. Oh well... These look nice, though. I was planning to attend some training courses next year and was going to buy a dedicated duty-sized gun. I almost pulled the trigger on the Q1 or Q100. I'm glad I didn't, since the both of those gun models will be released in the MK23 format!

@Graham Baates I see now that Tristar has picked up the import contract with Metro Arms. Their 1911s are now listed on Tristar's website.

Awhile back, Grand Power changed their US importer from Eagle Imports to Global Ordnance. Not long after that, Eagle Imports went out of business. The concern is, I've only seen one of the gun makers that used Eagle Imports announce their new importer (that was Bersa). I've a Metro Arms 1911 and was wondering who the new importer would be. I've attempted to contact Metro Arms themselves but haven't received a reply. Was wondering if anyone hear has heard anything.
