@Graham Baates I have decided to built a polish kit, the parts kit I received looks like its sat in a warehouse and wasn't abused or even fired. So all I have left is to get a childers receiver with proper Polish markings and off to Phoenix it goes. Gonna keep it Old school no side rail on this one

Graham , Have you ever had an AK built ? I picked up a Polish kit finally and about to order up a barrel and get a kit built. Just curious I know you've own and run AK's in 3 gun etc. What say you about builds ?

@Kratos a few giant red flags I see #1 no bio of who owns operates or is responsible (trainers quals etc) #2 the pics of the ASDF guys training in uniform is a huge red flag for me because they aren't actually allowed to use firearms when they are activated by the governor of the State of Alaska and having been exposed to them professionally I avoid them at ALL costs. #3 they are actually closing their doors according to their facebook page and liquidating inventory

My old boss TSgt Darren P Burt (RIP) got me into shooting and helped me start with 10/22's and was there when I bought my first Chinese SKS Paratrooper from Great Northern Guns for $179 bucks back in 1996. My wife's father is a retired Fed LEO and she never shot really because her dad made it not enjoyable at all, I eventually got her into shooting with the H&K P7M8 she inherited and now she has a full range guns that she calls hers. She even shocked me picked up her own .22 savage hunting rifle one day and said "I'm going to learn to hunt ptarmigan and grouse". I find that bringing her into the world of firearms I have to relax and remember she's not hyperactive and she learns way different than I do. She's also the one who told me to get my MP5, both our suppressors, and many other cool toys.

Small world, I lived in Lorain County for my formative years (1979-2993) and spent a ton of time running around the Cleveland and Cuyahoga County Area. Haven't been back much since I enlisted but I thought of moving back to Lorain County.

Beretta M1951 is one of the most fun pistols I have ever owned. A mil surplus Ive never cleaned and only fed the worst cheapest ammo I can find and it loves it. Paid like $249 for it last year and its a brick that I love.

I'm highly aggravated by the lack of decent trainers here in Alaska and people who generally aren't helpful to anyone in the 2A community or get themselves into sketchy stuff. I just want help setting up a battle belt so one day I can try a competition or 2
