As you saw in our "Remembering the Hand in Handgun" piece, and have likely experienced yourself, not every hand fits naturally to every handgun. This can be a point of frustration as one wants to use a particular gun, but their hand just doesn't quite hit the trigger naturally. Among competitive shooters it could mean choosing between a different gun for easier hand fit and wanting to run a doublestack 1911 but then having trigger finger alignment cause accuracy issues or speed limitations.

BUL Armory is no stranger to performance shooting, nor to the doublestack 1911 platform, having made performance models for decades. With that experience and knowledge the Link trigger system was created and can be used in most doublestack 1911s, not just BUL Armory models.

What Is It? With the Link trigger system users can easily swap the part of the trigger your finger touches in seconds and without modifying the firing mechanism. A single screw is all that need to be removed to change the length, width, and shape of the trigger. Additionally, the Link system enables the creation of wider triggers than previously possible on a 1911-style platform as now the "Link" can be wider than the slot in the frame the trigger must fit through during construction.

Who's it For? Any owner of a doublestack 1911 who wants to better tune the shape and size of their trigger to their hand for more naturaly shooting position.

What's it cost? As of the date this was written the trigger bow is listed for $55.90 and "Links" start at $19. There are 12 options to start.
Where Can I get it? At the time this was written the Link trigger system is available directly through BUL Armory's US web shop. Because these can be fitted to any doublestack 1911 it wouldnt' surprise me if we start to see them also sold elsewhere in the future.
