The RA9 is now imported by SDS Arms!

The Ranger Arms RA9 line is a fantastic line of pistols that are built better. GBGuns was the first in the US market to report on the original RA9 Defence 01 in 2024 and then followed up with the Defence 2 in 2025. At SHOT 2026 we got a sneak peek of what was in development for the RA9 platform, but what we did not know was coming was that SDS Arms, the same people who elevated the Tisas brand in the US are now the US importers of Ranger Arms. This is great news for both Ranger Arms and SDS Arms.

This means more of that amazing monobloc construction, similar to how a Grand Power pistol's internals are managed, keeping the gun feeling solid in hand and weight distribution optimal, plus the design cues and American-market design direction SDS Arms is famous providing; leading to great guns at great prices for Americans.

Projected models described by MAC and SDS Arms include,

"MAC RA-9 — The standard-bearer. Textured polymer grip, 4.25" 4140 steel QPQ-coated barrel, optics-ready slide with included RMR adapter plate, ambidextrous slide stops, and a three-slot Picatinny accessory rail.

MAC RA-9S — Same polymer grip module and Monoblock System, stretched out with a 4.75" barrel and a lightened, window-cut slide.

MAC RA-9 Sport — The range-day upgrade. Premium aluminum grip, 4.75" QPQ-coated barrel, lightened slide, fiber-optic front sight, adjustable target rear sight, metal mag well and mag base plates."

The new models are not yet on the US market, but can be seen on the SDS Arms website HERE. We will keep you updated and cant' wait to get the new models in for review. I saw the aluminum-framed models and longer-slides previously, but have not-yet had a chance to shoot any of them. I'm also hoping for a better optics-mounting system.
