I've tried a lot of holsters over the years and while there have been some good ones, most have been "ok" at best and few provided me real comfort. "Comfort" has a personal definition for us all, so I'll establish what I feel makes a holster "comfotable" for concealed carry:
The firearm securely retained.
I can retrieve the firearm quickly and with predictable effort
I can go about my daily activities while wearing the holster without impedement.
I have the ability to adjust the way the holster rides on my belt if needed.
You may be surprised that physical comfort seems menial on that list. That's because there can only be so much physical comfort in strapping a gun to your body. No matter what the holster is made of there will be weight and an inflexible object hugging closely to your relatively-flexible body.
In 2026 I was offered the great opportunity to work with world-renowned holser maker Falco. I've used Falco holsters several times over the years initially because they seem to be able to make a holster for just about any gun I could name, then I came to appreciate their craftsmanship, especially after visiting the workshop last year. Nylon, kydex, leather, real carbon fiber, they do it all.

Announcing the Falco GBGuns Holster! This holster has my design input based on over a decade of carrying variously-sized guns in different environments and clothing styles. Falco took my design input and combined it with their experience and craftsmanship to create what I believe is the best strong-side holster. This holster is intended to enable carry of mid-to-full-sized handguns on your strong side, but Falco can make a holster for just about any firearm you can think of. If you don't see what you're looking for in their list send them an email chances are good then can make it.
What makes the Falco GBGuns holster so good?
American kydex for solid retention, protection of the trigger guard, and a predictable, trainable draw.
Italian leather "Griffin Wing" that broadens the distribution of weight on your hip while also flexing with your body's movements.
Falco's strong and felxible hooks that both keep the holster in the same location and allow flexibility when you move.
Precut for a red dot
Adjustable ride height
FBI Cant for a natural draw.
Beautifully-rounded edges Falco is known for.
Tuckable: meaning you can tuck a shirt inbetween the clips and the holster.
The Griffin Wing really allows the holster to comform to your body while at the same time distributing weight and providing even stronger holster retention as the clip is pressed at an angle on the belt. Other holster designs have attempted similar effect, but lack the craftsmanship, design expertise, and material quality Falco has.
If you carry strong side and either carry a fighting-sized handgun or have wanted to, I highly encourage you to try the Falco GBGuns holster. Get yours HERE.
