Derya Arms and the DY9 has quickly become a favorite since my early experimental purchase while they were still imported by Rock Island. GBGuns readers got to get in on those pistols during introductory pricing and not only save some money, but also get a great gun and watch an investment grow.
Later I visited the US facility to celebrate the beginning of US-made Derya pistols and shotguns, and got to bring you the DY9 Island Kit which offers a complete island-ported pistol for less than the cost of the famous Zev OZ9 slide!
Now Derya Arms releases the DY9 Comp with a 4.6" threaded barrel and compensator. Priced at $250 at the time this was written, this complete slide includes a honeycomb stainless steel barrel, compensator, and optic-ready slide with slide-weight-reducing cuts. This slide fits Gen 4 Glock frames, and if you're concerned about Glock stopping production on their decades-old designs that's ok, because Derya also produces Glock-pattern frames with modern design and features here in the USA.
